Being home

June 29, 2008 shareanak

After going on a trip there is nothing like coming home and sleeping in your own bed. Tom and I just returned from Hermiston’s Relay for Life. We raised a lot of money and our team never stopped walking. All night long someone was always on the track. I walked from 1-2am and Tom walked from 4-5 am. For the first time ever I stayed awake for 24 hours. I found out after approximately 28 hours what a toll it can take on a person. On our way home Tom had to drive because I just could not keep my eyes open. We got home about 2:30pm and I went to sleep immediately and did not get up again until 9:30am the next morning. It felt great to be home, comfortable, and rested!

How did you make it through college without pulling an all-nighter. You are my hero!
